President Medvedev Wishes Russian Athletes Success at Vancouver Olympic Games

President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has wished the Russian national team luck and all the best at the 21st Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, reports RIA Novosti.

"Millions of Russian fans believe in you. Let motivation, willpower and team spirit help the Russian team in the Olympic arenas of Vancouver," Medvedev said in a message addressed to the athletes.

The President also said that the government was focused on supporting sport in Russia.

"Your success is the best contribution to this work," he added.

Russian sportsmen and women are leaving today to train for the games scheduled for February 12.
