Days of Russian Spiritual Culture Kick off in Vatican

12.02.2010

Vatican will conduct Days of Russian Spiritual Culture this spring, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia announced in his article published in the Expert magazine.

According to the Head of the Russian Church, Christians need to find “new language and new creative ways to preach Christian values in modern conditions of the constantly changing world”.

The Patriarch noted that first of all, he meant cooperation between the Roman-Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. “As we all understand that Europe is on the brink of loosing its personal civilizational and cultural identity, it becomes vital to unite our effort in order to search for new opportunities to make Christian values attractive for a contemporary European,” Patriarch Kirill stressed.
