Five-year-old Violinist from Russia – Winner of the International Music Contest

Lukyan Gagalayan, five-year-old violinist from Rostov-upon-Don became the winner of an Italian international music contest Don Matteo Colucci, Vesti  television channel reports.

Regardless of being the youngest participant, Lukyan Gagalayan managed to leave behind over 100 participants from Italy, Russia, Japan, South Korea and Ukraine.

According to Inna Nadolinskaya, teacher of the young talent, the boy jointed a music school only a year ago. “I was eager to win, because my father promised to present me a new violin”, Lukyan told reporters later on Friday.
