On October 30-31, in Nizhniy Novgorod, the "Praktika" Russian Center with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation hosted a conference for the creators of television and radio programs on the Russian language called "We Speak Russian". In attendance were more than 20 representatives of regional television and radio stations.

This was a practical conference with master workshops being conducted by well-known Russian television and radio hosts. The "Praktika" Center employee and coordinator of the project, Vera Korotkova, explained that the main task of the conference is to improve the quality of programs on the Russian language, which are produced by the regional television and radio stations.
