Russian Room Opens in Turkey

January 22 marked the opening of the new building of The Association of the Russian Language and Culture named after Solzhenitsyn in Izmir (Turkey). This building will also be a home for a new Russian Room, which is a part of the international cultural project funded by the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

The event was attended by Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Turkey Vladimir Ivanovsky, representative of Izmir city administration Hakan Tartan, Head of the Association of the Russian Language and Culture, and a number of other state and education officials and businessmen.

Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months.
