Book on Russian History Published in Budapest

11.12.2015

The latest publication in the ‘Russian Studies’ series has been released in Budapest. It contains the materials from the first international scientific conference of young Russian language experts that took place at the Russian Center in Budapest on 19–20 May 2014. The conference “Alternatives, Landmarks and Regime Changes in Russian History” was attended by Russian language experts from ten countries.

The book includes the reports in the same order in which they were presented at the conference. Although there are masters’ students and young scientists among the authors, their works are very in-depth and creative. It goes without saying that the printed pages cannot quite convey the authors’ enthusiasm, cheerfulness and willingness to have a meaningful discussion.

The book, edited by Dula Svak, was published with the support of the Russkiy Mir Foundation.

Italian entrepreneur Marco Maggi's book, "Russian to the Bone," is now accessible for purchase in Italy and is scheduled for release in Russia in the upcoming months. In the book, Marco recounts his personal odyssey, narrating each stage of his life as a foreigner in Russia—starting from the initial fascination to the process of cultural assimilation, venturing into business, fostering authentic friendships, and ultimately, reaching a deep sense of identifying as a Russian at his very core.
