It was announced by the Egyptian MFA representative as a comment to the list of terrorist attacks published by the US President’s administration.

The White House believes that those terrorist acts were not properly covered by the mass media. Donald Trump criticized American mass media, in his opinion they frequently hold back the information on how terrorists operate worldwide. The Egyptian diplomat announced that nine out of seventy-eight attacks took place in his country resulting in dozens or even hundreds of victims.

“That includes the crash of the Russian aircraft over Sinai and the explosion in Al-Butrusia Coptic church,” he elaborated. The Egyptian MFA representative expressed his regret with the fact, that selectivity and bias, criticized by Trump, also concern the approach with of a number of western mass media to covering terrorist attacks.

Earlier Egyptian authorities supported the opinion that before claiming A321 crash an act of terrorism they needed to obtain investigation results, which still remain unpublished. At the same time, Cairo did not negate the terrorist version.

Let us remember, the crash of the Russian aircraft took place on the final day of October 2015. As a result, 224 people died. There were no survivors. It was the biggest tragedy in the history of the Russian and Soviet aviation. After this tragedy the flights of the Russian airplanes to Egypt were suspended.
