Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova asserted an increased number of hacker attacks on Russian Foreign Ministry official website from US servers, as per IA Interfax.

Maria Zakharova has ironically noted at a regular briefing session that today the conversation will turn on hacker attacks again, but this time they come from abroad and are directed against official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Zakharova stated that IT administrators and support engineers had fixed three attacks on the servers and website of the Ministry in February, and such attacks had become more frequent in March. Fortunately, all attempts to shut down the website came to nothing.

Maria Zakharova gave American colleagues advice to focus on peaceful activities instead of trying to hamper the work of Russian Foreign Ministry site.
