14.06.2017

AgnosticPreachersKid// wikimedia.org US Department of State has explained that there were no official congratulations with Russia Day, as the approach to this procedure has been changed, TASS reports. According to the representative of the US Department of State, it turns out that new administration has a different way of sending out official congratulations. Now they are passed through American Embassies in the corresponding capital cities. US Foreign Ministry does not send them out by press releases any longer.

The State Department has cleared out that their congratulations are published on their official website. At this, the official representative could not say if they congratulated Russia on June 12 or passed congratulations through their Embassy in the Russian Federation. US Press Secretary promised to find this information out in the office.

Russian diplomats working in Washington noticed absence of official traditional congratulations with Russia Day from American authorities. They reminded that this incident happened for the first time in four centuries and proposed to draw some conclusions out of this.
