Russian Film festival to take place in Italy

History Pages Russian Film Festival posterHistory Pages Russian Film Festival will open tomorrow in a seaside resort town Jesolo in the province of Venice, Italy. Russian contemporary films will be shown there.

There are five films to be presented at the festival: About Love by Anna Melikyan, I am the Teacher by Sergey Mokritsky, Green Carriage by Oleg Asadulin, My Own Honour Bright by Aleksander Karpilovsky, Collector by Aleksey Krasovsky. All movies will be demonstrated in Russian with Italian subtitles.

Recognized Russian filmmakers will be present at the event. Every screening will be followed with Q&As.

History Pages festival comes to Italy for the 11th time. Before it was conducted in Castellaro, Laguzelle, Monzambano, Castiglione delle Stiviere. During 10 years locals attended films of world-famous Russian directors, such as Karen Shakhnazarov, Pavel Chukhrai, Fedor Bondarchuk, and others.
