Around 4,5 million tourists visited Crimea this year

pixabay.comHoliday season in Crimea may be called success, according to representative of Crimean Public Chamber of Crimea Vyacheslav Martynov. However, according to him, it was not the easiest one in terms of weather, RIA Novosti advises. Last year ten percent of the income came after May holidays, however, the weather was less fortunate this time – it was raining all the time.

At present, four and a half of million tourists visited Crimea, which is just four percent less than a year ago. Besides, 1,6 million US dollars of taxes were collected in this season.

Four thousand people went on a cruise by recently launched liner Knyaz Vladimir, which helped to develop the tourist flow. Ukrainian citizens also come to Crimea to spend vacations.

Tourists have highly appraised The Grand Sevastopol Path for devotees of active vacations. Its length is around 150 hundred kilometers. The head of center for extracurricular education Travel Matvey Shparo has mentioned that the path is in high demand and well organized. Ha has added that the plan is to create Grand Crimean Path.
