Prize established by grandnephews of Alfred Nobel Michael and Peter will be bestowed to scientists successful in alternative energetics and saving of energy fields. Apparently, the selection of candidates will be performed by the Higher Technical School of Zurich.

President of the International Informational Center for Nobel Prize Vyacheslav Tyutyunnik has mentioned that the center agreed with the prize establishers that the first awarding ceremony is to be held in May 2019 in Russia. At present, procedure of candidates’ selection and amount of the prize money are discussed. The ceremony order has not been agreed yet, however, organizers state that all these questions will be settled within a month.

Michael and Peter Nobel claimed their intention to establish a new prize at the Nobel Congress held in Tambov. The descendants of the grand sponsor have acknowledged that they are discontent with the fact that scientists are nominated for the Nobel Prize for their inventions made a long time ago. They have reminded that Alfred Nobel willed to award researchers who made a scientific discovery last year.

Ludwig Nobel who is an elder brother of the dynamite inventor Alfred Nobel lived in Russia for all of his life. After the death of Ludwig in 1888, Russian technical society established the first Nobel Prize in his honor for developments in the field of science and technology (the international award will be established in seven years only). Russian Nobel Prize existed in Russia until 1917 and was revived only in 2005.
