Russian Community in South Korea celebrates coming New Year

ksorskorea.orgLong-awaited Russian New Year celebration organized by Russia Consulate General, took place in Pusana, Coordination Council of organizations of Russian compatriots, Korea reports.

The program was overwhelmed with great events, such as music theatre play Five Keys from the trunk, funny competitions with memorable prizes, gifts from Russian Santa Claus and traditional round dance.

Another New Year event with traditional round dances and Russian games in the Seoul Russian House has attracted 180 kids and adults.

AppleTreeSchool in Dong-tan city hosted traditional New Year celebration for kids, that included theatre play The Lost Time Fairytale Tale. The event has concluded with concert and dance party.

It's worth mentioning that festivities to continue after January, 1. For example, Russian kids club Kimushki organizes morning performance Once Upon the Time in the Fairytale in Chameleon restaurant, Seoul.
