Germans come to Russia for studies

29.12.2017

Educational trips to Russia are gaining popularity in Germany, according to Gebeco Director Mr. Steinveg’s interview to NTV channel, Russian Field website reports.

In his opinion, Germans choose educational introductory trips to the Russian Federation more and more often. Mr. Steinberg has acknowledged that his company has gained the best results selling trips to Russia in 2017 compared to the whole period of its operations.

Increased demand in this direction happens despite unstable geopolitics. Mr. Steinveg has commented that Gebeco sold by 60% more tours to Russia in 2017 than in 2016. Moreover, the company expects further growth, first of all due to the  coming FIFA World Cup.

Other tourist companies also talk about increased interest in Russian travel tours. In particular, the giant organizer of educational introductory trips in Europe Studiosus has sold by 11% more tours to Russia than last year.
