Rostov Theater presents The Nutcracker ballet in Paris

rostovopera.ruThe audience of Le Palais des Congrès de Paris was excited to see the premier of The Nutcracker ballet by Rostov State Musical Theater, TASS reports.

Since December 19 the Russian troupe has been performing in various French cities. All tickets were sold out. The public greeted artists with a standing ovation. “We are touched with such a warm welcome from French people,” commented the theater director Larissa Kozlovsky.

The tour to continue until January, 4. The popular Christmas-themed ballet composed by Pyotr Tchaikovsky to be shown 17 times in all. It needs to mention that Rostov State Musical Theater has been in France earlier with Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi.
