Golden Ring route to be expanded

pixabay.comGolden Ring route is to be updated this year, RIA Novosti reports. According to the Deputy Minister of Culture, one more city is going to be added to the path. For now several old beautiful Russian cities are striving to get on the prestigious list. To be chosen city should comply with Golden Ring route standarts.

Official representative of RF Ministry of Culture is sure that there are many Russian towns and cities that are ready to be included in the list. Some of them already claim the Golden Ring membership although it's not truth.

Russian Union of Tourism has marked the touristic route update will be profitable businesswise. The deputy director of RUT Olga Sanaeva noted that it us important to introduce common standarts in the tourism industry adopted both for Russians and foreigners.

The route enlargement to further promote Golden Ring. "Only our authorities with its regions can stimulate interest to visit these routes," she has added.

Let us remember, last summer Serpikhov and Kolomna applied to be the part of the popular path.

As we reported before, the Golden Ring route celebrated 50 years anniversary las year.
