Vladivostok is new ground for Total Dictation

pixabay.comTotal Dictation campaign has defined its capital, IA VostokMedia reports. It is a city of Vladivostok. The final voting round took place in Novosibirsk today. Around three hundred people took part in the annual conference supported by the Russkiy Mir Foundation. The participants were experts, organizers, volunteers from different Russian regions as well as from Estonia, France and Israel.

Five city finalists of people’s voting demonstrated their presentations to the jury. Note that the majority of votes was gained by such cities as Vladivostok, Tyumen, Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk. Besides, the only foreign city – the capital of Estonia – Tallinn got into the list of candidates as well.

Vladivostok took the leading position in the first round of voting. It gained almost 26 thousands of votes. A large educational campaign will take place on April 14, 2018. An author of the text is already known. It is a writer Guzel Yakhina, an author of notorious novel Zuleikha opens her eyes. Traditionally, the author of the text arrives at the capital city of the campaign in person.

The central ground of the campaign is an atrium of the Far-Eastern Federal University where the representative office of the Russkiy Mir Foundation functions.
