The British choose Moscow for travelling

12.02.2018

The British often choose Russia as a tourist destination, RIA Novosti reports. Our country has entered the top-10 popular destinations of the British tourists. The ranking was compiled by the Wanderlust travel magazine, UK. It is based on the number of the tourists from UK having attended this or that country as well as on their feedback. More than 2000 readers took part in the poll conducted by the magazine. As it was found out, the British prefer destinations located the further from UK the better. Russia preceded Vietnam, Namibia and Japan occupies the 7th line. Costa Rica, Cambodia and Italy follow Russia.

Canada tops the list. It left behind New Zeeland, which used to occupy the first line. Peru completes the first three lines.

Besides, Top-10 best cities include Russia’s capital. Moscow and Dubrovnik, Croatia, lock the best five cities. Only the beauties of Kyoto, Japan, Venice, Italy, Cevilla, Spain and Budapest, Hungary go before Moscow.

The top-10 comprises Boston, US, Sidney, Australia, Luang Prabang, Laos and Vancouver, Canada.

Top-5 best developing destinations include Kirgizstan, Iran, Georgia, Greenland and Montenegro.
