The demand in tourist routes to the Arctic Region is constantly growing. The Arctic tourism is increasingly required by national as well as foreign tourists, RT informs.

For several past years the tourist flow to the Arkhangelsk region has grown by almost 24 percent, where as to the Murmansk region by more than 32 percent.

Rostourism explains that tourists from Norway, Finland and Sweden are the most active ones. There are also many guests from Germany, France, US and China in the Arctic Region. The number of Russians willing to visit the Arctic beauties has also increased.

Note that earlier Head of Rostourism Oleg Safonov has mentioned that the Arctic destinations are very important for the national tourism development, as the major part of Russia lies in the Arctic zone, which provides a unique tourist proposal unrivaled in the whole world. Among the most popular tours are the North Pole cruises. The Arctic cruises are developed at the east of Russia - at Chukotka region as well.
