2020 has been declared the year of cultural exchange between Russia and South Korea. Two heads of Ministries of Culture of both countries signed up the document after Vladimir Putin and South Korean President Moon Jae-in met for talks on June 22, RIA Novosti reports.

Let us remember, the program started with the South Korean President speech in the the lower House of the Russian Parliament. On June, 23 Moon Jae-in goes to see the FIFA World Cup – 2018 in Rostov-on-Don between the South Korean and Mexican teams.

During the conversation between Vladimir Putin and Moon Jae-in has shared that Lev Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky were always his favorite writers, and the love to the Russian literature made him fall in love with Russia.
