A large-scale party in Gorky Park kicked off a sequence of school graduation parties in Moscow – more than 19 000 high schoolers were celebrating there. Overall, 645 000 pupils graduated schools this year, TASS informs.

The main Moscow graduation party unwrapped in Gorky Park following the tradition of the past years. All in all, 35 interactive celebration grounds were opened with participation of actors, DJs and creative bands. There were picture zones in the park, where graduates were able to take pictures with peers and teachers.

Anticipating the sequence of school graduation parties, Russian Ministry of Education Olga Vasilyeva addressed the children leaving school. She has reminded that the graduation party is solemn and essential event at the same time. Minister wished to remember the last school evening for life and always recall the school years with warmth, to preserve love for the Motherland, honesty and diligence raised by the teachers. “Thanks to this moral basis, you obtained feeling of civic consciousness and indispensable link with the fate of the Motherland,” Minister concluded.

Note that the Unified State Exams results are being checked. The results of main exams in Russian and Literature are announced already. Many universities have unwrapped their admission campaigns and wait for the school graduates.
