The new reconstruction program of historical towns might get to work by the next year in Russia according to TASS.

As Vladimir Medinskiy the head of the federal culture department said it has been in planning for several years already and will be in place during the following five-six years.

The minister has explained that the work starting date is different FOR every town. First of all it depends on how quickly a town can prepare the design estimation documentation.

It is planned that Torzhok, Vyborg, Gorohovets, Chistopol, Suzdal, Ristiv, Staraya Russa, Arzamas and Tutayev will become the reconstruction locations.

The main task of the project is to develop the appeal to tourists. The project will take place in cooperation with the New developing bank (BRICS).

It became known at the end of spring about the bank's decision to provide over two hundred million dollars for the project "Retention and develop of historical towns and settlements" to take place.

Vladimir Medinskiy has mentioned that about fifty milion dollars are meant for Vyborg only. In the culture department they believe that close to 90% of assets will be borrowed and only about 10% will be taken from the state budget.
