Russian Northern villages and their inhabitants to become main characters of the new exhibition that will open at the Russian Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural Centre in Paris, Holy Trinity Cathedral informs.

Visitors will see paintings of the artist and collector Ivan Glazunov made during his trips to the Russian countryside, also folk costumes and arts and crafts from his collection. Also guests will see videous made during his trips to the Russian North. The exhibit will go on from September, 12 to October, 7. 

Ivan Glazunov is the son of famous Soviet and Russian painter Ilya Glazunov. Ivan is recognized as a deep Russian countryside and folk costumes' connoisseur. Exhibitions dedicated to his travel impressions were held in Italy and Russia.
