Young activists to visit Soviet soldiers' burial places in China

Young activists from Pacific National University will cover more than 800 kilometers of Chinese roads to visit cities and villages where Soviet war memorials are located, Regnum reports.

Khabarovsk University students to visit Soviet soldiers' burial places. The fighters have died in summer and fall of 1945, last months of the WW2, during liberation battles of North-East China from Japanese aggression. 

During their visit, Russian students will communicate with inhabitants of those areas, explaining their research goals to them.

The memories are carefully saved in most parts of China where WW2 battles were taking place. Locals take good care of graves and memorials. 

In 2011 Chinese authorities have issued photography album reflecting information on all Soviet soldiers' burial places in China.
