Russian House tourist complex opens in China

The Perm Krai and the Chinese province of Jiangxi have begun joint work of creation a cultural and tourist complex named Russian House. It will appear on the shore of Poyang Lake. The corresponding document was signed on September 27 within the Prikamye's business mission in China.

According to Perm Territory Governor Maxim Reshetnikov, for several years the Perm Krai and Jiangxi continue to develop cooperation.

Within the project two hundred houses will be built in different styles and architecture. There also will be a shopping street and a conference hall for mass events equipped by the innovative standards. The complex will be mainly constructed of wood from the Kama region. The project costs about three billion rubles granted by both the Chinese and the Russian side.

The construction of the complex starts this year. The initiators of the project are convinced that it will attract Chinese tourists as Russian culture is very popular there.

As Russkiy Mir reported, the Russian Village is planned to be built in the area of ​​the famous Tianzhu Mountains attracting a lot of tourists from other regions of China and abroad. Goods of Russian folk crafts and other Russian goods are planned to be sold in the tourist village.
