Role of cinema in everyday life discussed in Dalian

Russian Center at the Dalian University of Foreign Languages held a meeting with Russian filmmakers in the frames of the 3d Chinese-Russian Culture and Art Festival called Amur Autumn. The festival took place in Liaoning on September, 26-28. One of the Festival organizers is the Dalian University.


Russian film directors, producers, actors and DUFL students and teachers have gathered in the Center.

The head of the Amur Autumn Organizing Committee Sergay Novozjilov, the festival director Olga Smirnova, Soviet and Russian actors Lev Prugunov, Maxim Kolosov, producers Olga Agrofenina and Marina Trubinina were joined by the Consul General of the Russian Consulate in Shenyang Sergey Paltov.


Guests were talking about the past, present and future of Russian film, about cooperation of Chinese and Russian cinema productions, and about the role of the film in people's lives. Chinese students, postgraduates, DUFL Russian language teachers and Russian exchange students have discussed with guests many actual issues of these topics.
