Russian language center opened on the island of Hainan

The center of the Russian language has begun to work in Qionghai, China, Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper informs. The town is located on the Hainan island, one of the most popular resorts in China.

Gorodovikov Kalmyk State University launched the center based on the information technology college. The institution marks its 95th anniversary in 2018. There are about 6000 people studying at 10 faculties. Now students will be able to learn Russian together with other foreign languages. In addition, the center will help to establish ties between students from Russia and China.

According to Russkiy Mir, recently Russian and Chinese universities increase the development of bilateral cooperation. They conduct joint research, student and academic exchanges.
