Development of pedagogical education was discussed in Xi'an

Autumn of 2018 in China is rather busy in the area of pedagogical education. One of the events was the First Chinese-Russian Pedagogical Forum in Xi'an. The forum was organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University and Shaanxi Normal University (SNU).

The Russian Center was included into the arrangements committee as facilitator in all aspects.

Delegates from 10 universities and colleges of Russia and 25 educational institutions of China came to the forum.

The forum has opened on October 22 with welcome address of professor Yu. Xujun, the rector of SNU, and  professor T. Kortava, pro-rector of MSU.

At the first day of forum Andrei Emelianov, director of PR Department of the Ministry of Education of Russia handed over the welcome letter from the Minister of Education O.Vasilieva. Then he presented to the audience the Education National Project aimed to ensure competitive capacity of Russian education on global scale and Russia’s ranking among top 10 world countries by quality of general education and cultivation of well-balanced personality.


Leaders of the best universities and colleges from both countries made 12 presentations during the plenary meeting.

In her final statement at the forum’s closing ceremony professor Kortava focused on integration of pedagogical education systems of Russia and China, which may become a priority of Russian and Chinese cooperation in scientific and humanitarian areas and define future of mankind in many aspects, since our two countries account for 20 % of the world population and 18 % of the planet surface.
