Head of Sanya city party committee Tun Daochi told about the plans to hold the days of Russian culture in the Chinese resort, TASS reports. According to him, Russian tourists are the majority among foreigners who rest there, and the authorities will make every effort to expand the flow of tourists from Russia.

According to Tun Daochi, about 200 thousand people from our country come to Hainan Island every year. The Chairman of the party committee recalled that the relations between Moscow and Beijing had long been a strategic partnership. They are developing in the cultural, scientific, educational and other fields.

In addition, it is planned to strengthen humanitarian ties with our country. For many years, Sanya has established fraternal relations with Khabarovsk. Humanitarian exchanges and youth contacts continue between them, and these formats have great potential. Young Russians come to numerous festivals and tournaments in beach sports.

Russian cultural figures are known around the world. Russian music, ballet and many other forms of art will be popularized on the tourist island. Theater, music, dance and other groups from Russia perform there.

The authorities of the resort are planning to organize screenings of Russian movies for local residents along with the days of Russian culture. To this end, directors from Russia will be invited to Sanya so that they show their work to the Chinese public themselves. The city authorities invite Russian film crews to participate.

There are many well-known centers of Chinese traditional medicine in Sanya. This is a very important area. The city has signed cooperation agreements with two medical institutions in Moscow and some very large Russian companies. More than 50,000 Russians were taking care of their health here lately.
