Motherland monument is planned to be installed in France, BelTA informs. It will perpetuate the feat of partisan group of the same name; the only one that included only women. Among them were 37 natives of the Soviet Union, a third of them were from Belarus. All of them fled from the Herouville concentration camp together with representatives of European countries.

The draft of the monument was presented the day before at the Belarus Embassy in Russian Federation.
It is planned that it will appear in Til, in the place where the concentration camp was previously located. Its opening will take place on the eve of the anniversary of the liberation of France from the fascist occupation.
A separate fighting group of the female partisan detachment, commanded by Belarusian girls Nadezhda Lisovets and Rosalia Fridzon, became part of Fighting France European Resistance forces.
The installation of the monument, designed by sculptor Vladimir Surovtsev, will be another step aimed at developing and strengthening international relations and preserving the historical truth about the fight against fascism.
There are plans to make a documentary directed by Mikhail Matrosov about the heroines of Motherland.
