Irkutsk with Us?  documentary by Maria Kelchevskaya  is one of the winners of the Old City in the new World Russian-Italian festival, Arguments andFacts newspaper reports.  Documentaries of Russian and Italian directors were among its competitors. Last year the film was noted at the Fish Eye shorts festival.

The documentary is  cfreated in frames of Baikal Land documentary epic film progect sponsored by Irkutsk Region Film Fund.

The film is dedicated to the history of an old city on the Angara river. It is unimaginable without wooden houses. The film contains excerpts from Valentin Rasputin and Mark Sergeev stories. 

After the victory,  Irkutsk with Us?  documentary  was shown in Venice and Verona. Today, April 23, the documentary to be demonstrated in Irkutsk.
