Aeroflot voted for "aviation Oscar" for the eighth time

The Russian airline company Aeroflot has received the Skytrax World Airline Awards, Gazeta.ru reports. It has been recognized as the Best Airline of Eastern Europe for the eighth time. The award ceremony took place at the Paris Air and Space Museum. It entered the program of the largest international air show, which takes place in Le Bourget.

The award is presented by the British consulting agency Skytrax. Its experts make a rating based on the results of the world's largest passenger satisfaction survey. It includes three hundred airlines. This year, air passengers from more than a hundred countries took part in it, the online voting took place for several months in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Russian.

According to Vitaly Savelyev, who heads Aeroflot, this award is the recognition of a leading Russian carrier at the world level. He called the choice of passengers the best incentive for further improvement.

Skytrax President Edward Plaisted has reminded that Aeroflot constantly occupies a leading position. Victory in the world's key aviation award is an excellent confirmation of the high quality of the service provided by the carrier.
