Residents of Managua taste dishes of Russian cuisine at gastronomic festival

23.08.2019

The Government of the Republic of Nicaragua organized a traditional international gastronomic festival dedicated to the celebration of the patron saint of the country's capital, St. Dominic, on August 10–11.

Representatives of many countries traditionally take part in the events, offering a wide selection of culinary dishes with the typical tastes of their country, combined with an attractive cultural program.

A permanent participant in these festivals is the Russian Embassy in Nicaragua, joined by the Russian Center of the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua this year. For two days, students provided all interested with information about the Russian Center and the Russkiy Mir Foundation. The Olof Palme exhibition complex showed a three-minute video about the work and activities of the center at least 15 times.

Our students demonstrated their success in learning the Russian language and presented the T-shirt with the symbols of the Russian Center to the Honorary ambassador of Russia.
