Three rook boats expedition go on 9 century in 2020

First phase of the Rurik Path international historical expedition concluded in Kaliningrad. Participants overcame 7 thousand kilometers. They have travelled in Scandinavian and Baltic countries on Zmey Gorynych rook boat based on old vessels' drafts. The trip organisers have  claimed  that three boats will engage in the new trip will take place in 2020, TASS reports.

Participants of new expedition are going to go along the route which, according to some historians, could lead Rurik brothers, Sineus, Truvor to the Rus in IX century. Travellers are going to make 5 thousand kilometers. According to the expedition leader Father Feoktist, three rook boats to be complete with crews dressed in historical costumes. Vessels to be made in Tolyatti, by the expedition start it will be delivered to Kaliningrad.

Note that Rurik Path will become an important event in Russia's cultural life, it was also mentioned by international media.  Zmey Gorynych made several stops to meet locals and Russian compatriottory, conducted interactive games, told about Old Rus and held tours on decks and cabins.
