Representatives of more than 30 countries gathered at innovation forum in Ulyanovsk

The International Youth Innovation Forum opens on Wednesday, September 18, according to the news agency Ulyanovsk Today.

Ulyanovsk hosts it for the eighth time. The forum brings together schoolchildren, students and even preschoolers. They are joined by businessmen, innovators and scientists. The main goal of the event is to discuss important issues of the digital economy, the development of information technology, energy, engineering and other areas.

Representatives of more than thirty countries and many Russian regions gathered on the banks of the Volga river. An exhibition of achievements and developments of large industrial enterprises and organizations of the region is timed to the opening of the forum.

The competition called "Russian is the language of engineering" is organized for foreign students.  Quests, games, excursions, open lectures, designed to cause even greater interest in scientific and technical creativity, will be conducted for foreign students.

Children under 18 who are fond of robotics will be able to participate in the UlROBOFEST robotic festival. A hackathon will take place for anyone interested in developing, programming and designing applications.

In the framework of round tables, teachers will discuss the problems of teaching computer science, physics, mathematics, as well as the problems of modern aircraft manufacturing.

The award ceremony of the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers will also be held during the event.
