Days of Moscow take place in Spain

Russian compatriots living in Spain will take part in a roundtable meeting to be held today, October 21. The event is held as part of the Days of Moscow, according to the website of the Coordinating Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots.

The forum participants will discuss the polarization of the Russian language abroad, increasing interest in Russian culture and history. The focus will also be on the strengthening of cooperation between countries in the humanitarian sphere and the revitalization of the association of Russian compatriots abroad.

The program of the Days of Moscow included the performance of Russian singers. Opera soloists Ksenia Dezhneva, David Posulikhin, the BisQuit chamber orchestra, the MoscowBoys music show and many other creative groups will perform on one of the central squares of Madrid.

Street theater actors and musicians staged an interactive performance for the Spanish public. There was an exhibition of silk scarves painted with the most famous sights of Moscow.

During the festival, everyone had the chance to join the project of the contemporary Russian artist Maxim Goshko-Dankov, who worked in the style of decorative painting with elements of pop art.

The opening of the Portrait against the Background of Moscow exhibition was timed to the festival of the Russian capital. It opened at the branch of the Russian Museum in Malaga, it was prepared by the Tropinin Museum. The visitors were presented with a multimedia-immersive installation called Lacemaker.

The exposition includes copies of art portraits and prints about Moscow.
