Russian ballet dancers bring Swan Lake to China

Residents of the Hainan province in China will be able to watch Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, TASS reports.

One of the most famous ballets to the music of the great Russian composer will be presented to the public by the Russian Ballet Company. The performance will be shown in the new edition based on the choreography of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. The creative team begins touring in China on December 8. The first performance of Russian artists will be held in the city of Boao.

The theater recalled that it was Swan Lake that was the hallmark of the national ballet school. Now this performance is one of the most performed around the world. The masterpiece of classical dance, created in Russia, is watched by the largest number of spectators.

Spectators will also see the Swan Lake of the Russian Ballet Company in other cities on Hainan Island. Then the tour tour route will continue in Guangdong.
