Books by Russian writers published in France and publications by French authors about Russia will be presented as part of the fifth Russian literature fair, which will be held in Paris from December 6 to 8. The salon participants will be writers, translators and researchers, according to Russkiy Ochevidets.

Presentations of new publications, exhibitions, discussions and concerts will take place within the framework of the fair. The opening ceremony will be attended by Director of the Federal Press and Mass Media Agency Mikhail Seslavinsky and Russian ambassador to France Alexey Meshkov.

The organizers of the salon emphasize that the event is in no way connected with politics. It aims to familiarize readers with new books and maintain a cultural dialogue between Russia and France.

The fair will be attended by Russian and French writers, translators and literary scholars. More than twenty Russian participants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaluga and other cities are waiting in Paris. The French participants will also take an active part in the events of the fair.
