A marathon of New Year performances, fairs and other events for Russian-speaking children and adults opens in Canada. Events will be held in Vancouver, Toronto and other cities. Part of the tickets for performances will be handed out to poor families for free, and fees will go to the needs of the Orthodox Church in Canada, the press service of the organizations of Russian compatriots of Canada reports.
New Year's marathon kicks off this weekend. On December 14 and 15, a two-day Christmas market will be held at the Russian House of Toronto. A series of festive performances in Russian called The Magic Card of Father Frost will open in one of the theaters of Toronto, children will be entertained with songs, tasks and fun games. The Russian-language Puppets for U theater has prepared a performance for the holiday. The New Adventures of Kolobok play will be performed in one of the Russian shops in Toronto.
A week later, on December 21, New Year's house party with the participation of musicians of the Russian community of Canada will be held in Toronto.
