Further education courses for RSL teachers take place in Turkey

Large-scale project called Development and Improvement of the Personnel Potential of Open Education Centers in Russian and Teaching the Russian Language in the Turkish Republic was completed on December 14, 2019, in Turkey. It was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The project was organized by the World of Russian Textbooks training center with the assistance of the Zlatoust Publishing House and the Center for Russian Language and Culture RUSMER, where the Cabinet of the Russian World (Ankara) is located. More than 50 Russian language teachers from 10 cities of Turkey took part in the courses.

The lecturers and experts of the project were teachers from leading Russian universities (The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, Moscow State Linguistic University, St. Petersburg State University, St. Petersburg State University of Economics and others), well-known methodologists and linguists, authors of popular textbooks on RSL, employees of testing centers , heads of language schools and courses, developers of web and multimedia applications.

For almost two months, participants studied in three online programs. The final stage of the project was eight-hour face-to-face seminars, which took place on December 13-14, 2019 in Ankara. Much attention was paid to solving applied methodological problems, which were studied in the online part of the course, as well as to the creation of training materials: development of lessons, exercises, tests and cases.

The project ended with presenting participants with certificates and gift sets of educational and methodical literature on the Russian language by Zlatoust Publishing House. At the closing of the event, the course participants were congratulated by the deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Turkey Roman Penkin, the director of the Center for Russian Language and Culture of RUSMER Lyudmila Nosova-Kural, the director of the training center World of Russian Textbooks Anna Golubeva.
