Moscow celebrates New Year with concerts, games and fireworks

Tverskaya Street, VDNH and almost thirty parks in Moscow will be open on New Year's Eve for mass festivities.

Residents and guests of the capital will be able to take part in festivals and discos, watch concerts and shows with the participation of famous singers and artists for free, go tobogganing and skating, RIA Novosti reports.

More than a thousand performers, groups and ensembles will take part in concert programs that will take place in the capital's parks, at VDNH and other venues. Polina Gagarina, Kristina Orbakaite, Dmitry Malikov, Egor Creed and other popular performers will appear on the stage.

Guests will be able to choose from many disco parties - from modern music to retro shows.

One of the central streets of Moscow, Tverskaya, will turn into a large festive venue on New Year's Eve: in addition to concerts and shows, circus performers — air gymnasts, clowns, and others — will perform on Tverskaya.

Moscow theaters will present more than fifty performances at the popular Moscow venues.

Master classes on creating New Year's souvenirs, quizzes and competitions have been prepared for adults and children.

On the night of January 1, over 50 thousand fireworks will be launched in twenty parks of Moscow.
