The works of the winners of the Andrei Stenin International Photojournalism Competition are presented in Argentine. The exhibition started in Buenos Aires, the Kultura TV channel reports. It is located at Retiro Central Station. This building is rightly called one of the most beautiful in the Argentinean capital.

Sandra Mayol, who heads the Argentine Railways, has no doubt that people will really like the idea of the exhibition. According to her, the station is a place where different cultures, countries, people unite. Mayol assured that the photos will be seen by many people in the station building.

About 50 photos made by reporters from Turkey, France, Russia, Italy and other countries are presented in Argentine. They represent the pressing issues of the modern world: demonstrators and refugees, the consequences of environmental disasters and much more.

From Buenos Aires, the exhibition will travel around the country. It will be brought to Entre Rios, San Luis and Cordoba.

Russkiy Mir reported that the competition bears the name of the photographer who died in 2014 during the hostilities in the Donbass. Every year, thousands of photographers from dozens of countries take part in the competition.

Photographers 18–33 years old can take part in the contest; applications can be submitted in Russian, English and Chinese. The winners and laureates of the competition in four categories will receive awards from 75 to 700 thousand rubles. In 2019, the Andrei Stenin Competition celebrated its fifth anniversary.
