The International Space Station will join the Immortal Regiment action, TASS reports. Roscosmos acts as the organizer of the action.

Everyone who wishes to take part in the commemorative event is invited to send information about their ancestors who have traveled along the front roads, forged victory in the rear, fought in partisan teams during the Great Patriotic War.

A story and a photo should be sent in a personal message to the Roskosmos community on the VKontakte social network by April 22. Everyone who sent the message will receive a confirmation of participation. It must be published on a participant’s personal page on VKontakte.

The celebrations dedicated to Cosmonautics Day will take place this autumn. They were moved from April 12 to autumn to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. By tradition, many foreign guests come to Russia to celebrate the holiday, which takes place on the anniversary of the first space flight. This year, Cosmonautics Day will be celebrated in October. It is dedicated to the anniversary of the launch of the first artificial satellite.
