Milan Russian Center continues its work during quarantine

23.03.2020

Despite the strictest quarantine in Lombardy, the methodologists of the Russian Center of the University of Milan conduct lectures, develop tests for applicants for master's programs, check homework, and prepare Italian students for competitions. And all this thanks to information and communication technologies and modern devices.

For the fourth week, methodologists have been conducting online exam preparation classes for students of the 2nd and 3rd courses and classes in Russian for freshmen.

Thanks to independent work, students become much better at remembering and understanding the material they have learned, but the distance learning requires them to have a high level of self-discipline and self-control. To maintain students' interest in learning, teachers develop interesting assignments and offer different forms of work for their implementation. For example, in order to create a productive atmosphere of interaction and develop communication skills, children receive tasks that need to be completed in small groups. At the same time, the teacher actively participates in the process of forming groups so that no one feels deprived of attention. After the lecture, students continue to work on projects with each other. According to them, this form of work helps to overcome the lack of communication with peers and make new friends.
