Days of Russian language held in Zambia

The results of the Days of the Russian language were summed up in Zambia. Events dedicated to the holiday of Russian culture took place in the African country for a month, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports.

The program of the festival included the Pushkin poetry contest, attended by students of Russian language courses in Lusaka and Kitwe. Everyone could coun put their knowledge to the test with a dictation in the Russian language. This opportunity was taken by compatriots, students of the Russian Center for Science and Culture, graduates of Russian universities.

Russian teachers made a film about Pushkin, which was shown to those who are interested in Russian culture. Compatriots enjoyed an online meeting with writer Elena Ronina.

The days of the Russian language ended with a quiz. Six teams fought for the championship in the intellectual tournament.
