An online presentation was held on Russian higher education at Russian universities and a scholarship program for foreign citizens on September 29, at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The participants also discussed quotas for Czech citizens annually allocated by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, summer schools of the Russian language, as well as the opportunity to study Russian on short-term summer and winter courses. Students and teachers of the university took part in the presentation.
The representative of Rossotrudnichestvo Lilia Lukyanova spoke in detail about Russian universities and cities, and answered the questions of the participants. The university holds such meetings annually, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the presentation had to be held online.
The presentation was organized by the Department of Education, Science and Culture of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague, the Russian Center in Plzen, together with the teachers of the Department of Russian Studies and German Studies of the Philosophical Faculty of the University of West Bohemia.
