The next Total Dictation action is to take place on April 10, 2021, TASS reports. According to Olga Rebkovets, who heads the Total Dictation Foundation, the implementation of plans depends on the epidemiological situation. She noted that preparations for the action had already begun.

This year more than 270,000 people have joined the action. The dictation platforms worked in 45 countries, and the text was written online in 109 countries.

The largest number of participants came to face-to-face venues in St. Petersburg. Kazan took the second place in this indicator, Moscow closed the top three, there were also many participants in Yakutsk and Novosibirsk. Uzbek Nukus became the leader of foreign cities.

Face-to-face sites were organized in 546 Russian and 207 foreign settlements. St. Petersburg became the capital of the action. It was from there that Andrei Gelasimov read an excerpt from his text entitled Per Aspera.

A new format was developed especially for the latest action. Participants were asked to write the text at home by hand and then send it for review.
