Exhibition of children's drawings for Day of Unknown Soldierplanned in UK

An exhibition of children's drawings dedicated to the exploits of Russian and Soviet soldiers on the battlefield will open online on the occasion of the Day of the Unknown Soldier, which is celebrated on December 3. Also, the organizers expect from the participants photographs taken at the monuments to the fallen soldiers, according to the Council of the Russian-speaking community of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The organizer of the exhibition was Lyudmila Kolesova, a member of the Coordination Council of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, head of the Russian-Speaking Society of Nottingham. Anyone can take part in the action, the only requirement is to send drawings dedicated to the Day of the Unknown Soldier. The organizers also accept photographs at monuments to fallen soldiers or photographs taken during lessons of courage. Works must be sent to liudkolesova@yandex.ru.
