Russia becomes one of countries with largest number of migrants

Russia was included in the top 5 countries of the world with the largest number of migrants, TASS reports. According to the results of the past year, Russia took the 4th line. The authors of the report of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on this topic noted that the number of migrants in Russia is 12 million people.

The document says that two thirds of all migrants were in 20 countries. The United States firmly holds the top destination for migrants. The number of migrants there  exceeds 50 million people, which is almost 20% of the total.

The second and third top destinations for migrants are Germany and Saudi Arabia.

The top five is closed by Great Britain, where there are nine million migrants.
