A vaccine for the prevention of cat allergies, which the Sechenov University is working on, may be released this year if the coronavirus pandemic does not make its own adjustments. This was stated by the rector of the university Pyotr Hlybochko, RIA Novosti reports.

The head of the university stated that the drug, which helps people with cat allergies, was almost finished. According to him, at the moment the research stage has been completed, but the documents for registration of the drug have not yet been submitted.

Earlier, it became known that Russian scientists and their colleagues from the University of Vienna had begun the joint development of an appropriate antiallergic drug.
